On August 23 Alistair Lexden, President of the Independent Schools Association, met its incoming Chairman for 2016-17, Stuart Nicholson, at the House of Lords at the start of his period of office.
The new Chairman is Principal of the highly successful, coeducational Cambridge Centre for Sixth-form Studies whose 150 students, drawn from this country and abroad, regularly win top grades at GCSE and A-level.
They discussed the need to ensure that the strong interest that many international students have always had in coming to Britain does not decline after Brexit.
