The thriving Independent Schools Association (ISA), of which Alistair Lexden is President, has instituted a new series of 14 awards recognising the high standards achieved in its 330 member schools.
The first winners were announced at a glittering ceremony on May 15 during the ISA’s annual conference.
Alistair Lexden presented the final and most important of the trophies—the ISA Award for Excellence—to the head of Beech House School in Rochdale, a co-ed for two to sixteen year-olds. “ I congratulate the head, staff and 229 pupils of this brilliant Lancashire school on winning the ISA’s top award”, he said.
